American Dipper – I like to think it’s a Canadian Dipper. On a trip to the south Okanagan this weekend we stopped at Hardy Falls Regional Park. We often see dippers in Hardy Creek and sure enough, as we were leaving I spied this guy (or gal – they look the same). He put on quite a show, diving into the icy water in search of grubs, often under the water for 5 seconds or more.
