Blessings and Hope
I just received a letter from my friend Irene Hamm who is in the business of blessing others. She just returned from Kenya where she has invested, resourced, encouraged, lead and most of all, blessed a community of orphaned children and the staff of Hope Community Center in Kenya. HopeCCCanada.ca The three photographs above tell a story. In 2008 Irene invited Cannie and I to join her in Kenya. We traveled in a group of 8 for several hours out of Nairobi to the town of Thika where we rescued two abandoned babies from certain death and brought them back to the orphanage. These two babies joined 3 others rescued just days before from a Nairobi hospital. Our group had the privilege of praying for the newcomers along with the other children.
